Have you heard? It's important to rotate the variety of greens that you consume on a regular basis!
Wait, what? Why?
1. Greens are very different! They all have unique compositions and a variety of nutritious vitamins & minerals! Rotate your greens to get as many of these incredible nutrients as possible!
2. To avoid intake of certain toxins. Consuming high amounts of only one type of green, especially when it is spinach, can cause you to experience symptoms of toxicity.
3. To increase the diversity of COLOR in your diet! We all know that it is essential to "eat the rainbow" to feel good & healthy, so use the abundance of greens available (especially during fall!) to get as much GREEN in as possible.
TIP: Mix up your greens easily and cost-effectively!
Buy one type of green each week for all of your recipes, and change the variety each week!
PLUS, here at White Birch Juice, we have plenty of options to switch up your greens! Obsessed with the Green Gold (kale, cucumber, apple, celery, mint, & lime)? Switch it up every once in a while and grab a Garden Goodness (spinach, pea shoots, celery, cucumber, cilantro, apple, & lime)! Yum!

Chilly autumn is perfect to start preparing delicious, warming breakfast to kick off your day! This time of year gets super busy and hectic, so taking a small amount of quiet time in the morning to lovingly make a delicious breakfast that is FULL of nutrition is a wonderful way to relax.
Here's one of our favorite breakfasts for fall:
Oatmeal, cooked on the stovetop (we added some flax seeds!) with either our cashew or almond milk--it's simply yummy & made with love
Top with dried fruit (we love cranberries) and nuts (these are almonds, pumpkins, pecans, and pistachios!)
We also think coconut shavings, fresh berries, or even a few chocolate chips would be yummy! :)
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon, cardamom, or any favorite warming spice. We love this breakfast with a warm cup of chai tea (we added some of our homemade almond milk to that too!!).
Grab a White Birch Juice the day before, to round out your breakfast with some fresh, cold-pressed (and tasty!) nutrients!

I found out about the White Birch Juice Company from friends that were hooked! I came in and experienced the extraordinary service and quality of White Birch products and got hooked, too! How does drinking juice and/or juicing fit into your life? Has it changed your lifestyle? How?
Drinking White Birch Juice is extremely important to my lifestyle. My profession is very demanding and I'm constantly looking to bring my best self to each day both on stage and off. I've found that when my body is at peace so is my soul. White Birch juice is a crucial part of my physical discipline which helps keep me on track emotionally and spiritually as well. I love getting the amazing nutrients PLUS feeling light and ready for anything that the day might bring!
Have you done a juice cleanse?
Oh man! I haven't yet but I am eager to do a cleanse. I have heard wonderful feedback and think that would be a great next step for me!
Thank you so much sweet Annie! We so appreciate you! <3
Is this your first time cleansing? Yes!
What are your goals/hesitations for this cleanse?
My hope for this cleanse is mostly that I will feel super nutrient-nourished. I also hope to use this three-day period to practice more self-care and rest. My only hesitation for the cleanse is that I have not transitioned optimally into cleansing. My eating habits (as I transition into my freshman year of college) have been okay, but not ideal; therefore, I am mostly interested to see if I experience any more negative symptoms of detoxification.
I thoroughly enjoyed all of my juices today, and felt, for the most part, very satisfied after each juice. I did experience what I think were some detoxification symptoms. After about noon, I felt sleepy, had a mild headache, and had difficulty concentrating. Later that afternoon, I decided to eat something, so I had half of an avocado. I felt exponentially better, and was better able to concentrate. I did notice that I felt very, very full after eating it! Tonight, I read a book (for fun…not school, finally!), drank my almond milk, and went to bed early again.
I slept SO well last night. SO well. Better than I have in weeks. I also felt amazing after waking up! I spent the day productively, but also spent time practicing yoga and meditation, during which I felt an enhanced sense of clarity than usual. I also felt so focused and clear overall—in my interactions with people, during studying, and more. Today at around 3PM was the first time I felt hungry. It was noticeably different for me than the strange feeling of being “full” and satisfied on liquids. I ate the other half of the avocado. Again, I felt SO full after eating. I also supplemented my cleanse by going to the juice bar to get an Autumn Apple juice (apple, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla)—it was rainy and chilly and October…and I was seriously craving something fall-y! It was crazy delicious.
I slept incredibly, again! I feel so well rested. Again, I incorporated plenty of yoga and meditation into my day full of studying, and I felt a deep sense of calm throughout the majority of my day. I also felt really light and happy throughout everyday activities. One thing was strange—today I had a hard time drinking my Ruby Red juice (often one of my favorites: carrot, apple, ginger, beet, pineapple, and celery). It felt oddly heavy. Later, I did feel that same feeling of hunger in the early afternoon today, so I ate an apple—mindfully and slowly. It was incredible how satisfying it was! I had a busy evening of yoga teacher training, so I drank (and savored) my almond milk and my Turmeric Tonic, a little bit sad that I didn’t have another Turmeric Tonic to wake up to!
Overall experience and benefits:
My cleanse was fantastic! Some of the benefits that I received from it were:
(Also…I ADORED seeing a motivational quote on all of my juice bottles—it definitely kept me in good spirits throughout the entire 3 days!)

How does drinking juice fit into your life? Has it changed your lifestyle? How?
Health started to become a huge factor in my life in college. I studied to go into the ministry and as I learned more and grew in my faith with Jesus I realized how important it was for all humans to care for their bodies. I began to invest more in my body because I believed and still believe that if I care for myself that I can spread the love of God to everyone more effectively. I also began to research and truly understand that God gave us so much that comes directly from the earth because it could and does prevent us from so many diseases. When I realized how much junk goes into our grocery foods and what it was doing to the human body I became determined to be different and drag people along with me. White Birch Juice is not an outlet I can send people to that I hope and pray will begin to change peoples lives and help them see the beauty of this world in a new light instead of always feeling terrible and focusing on that.
Have you done a juice cleanse?
No. Will I? Yes! Will I love it? Indubitably!
Anything else to say to our readers?
Our bodies are fascinating! It is our responsibility to care for them and help others do the same. White Birch Juice is more than just making a profit, but seeing peoples lives changed. They want to expand the opportunities a person can do in this world and let people experience life new and fresh. I am so thrilled to be a part of the effort!
With the autumn breeze and beautiful leaves falling, fall is the perfect time to add some yummy herbal teas into your diet! They are perfect for anytime of the day--especially to replace your early morning coffee or to be a comforting before-bed treat. Here are some of our favorites!
Ginger tea is warming and comforting! It also naturally reduces inflammation, relieves nausea, promotes good circulation, is calming, and can aid in digestion and food absorption.
This herbal tea is high in Vitamin C and other antioxidants. It promotes healthy, hydrated skin (perfect for blustery, cooler weather!), and helps to reduce headache pain and dizziness. It also is an effective anti-stress herb!
Lavender is a super balancing herb--in any form! A warm lavender tea is one of our favorite ways to take it in! It is effective in relieving anxiety, issues with the gastrointestinal system, promotes good, deep sleep, and can be useful in treating chronic pain!
This tea is a spice-y, warming beverage! In Ayurvedic medicine, cardamom is a wonderful addition to any diet for many reasons. It can be used to improve symptoms of anxiety and depression, to relieve cold and flu symptoms, to detoxify the body. Cardamom can also lower blood pressure and reduce inflammation in the body!
So, take some time and sip some warm tea--it's good for your body AND your soul!
