Introducing...Selena! Yogini, pre-med student, and overall incredible person...check out her view on juicing and healthy habits!
How does drinking juice and/or juicing fit into your life? Has it changed your lifestyle? How? I had a juicer that sat abandoned in my pantry for years before White Birch inspired me to break it out and start throwing my own creativity in recipes. Even though none of my juices are quite as tasty as the ones that the pros at WBJ make, I still get a burst of clean energy from essential nutrients that I pull from my garden. I have been able to reduce my caffeine intake by substituting nourishing juices that provide natural energy instead. Is there anything else that you’d like to tell the readers of our blog? As a (hopeful) future-physician, I worry about the well-being of Americans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In general, we're overfed, but starving from lack of nutrients. Juicing is one solution to the common illnesses caused by the Western diet, such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, etc. In one bottle of juice, you get a whole meal's worth of plant vitamins and minerals that are required for your body to perform the various processes that keep you alive and well. FYI: This is science, not a paid advertisement. Go ask your doctor about it. Everyone would do better to buy fewer fast food meals and more White Birch juices. Plus, they taste MUCH better than a Big Mac :) Thank you so much Selena for sharing your thoughts! We love that you are working to become a physician! Spread the health and vitality! <3
